Battle of New Blood Higi Haga vs Galacticos

Adventurous Galacticos aim at Soaring Lawyers

Galacticos Team captain Kalungi Godfrey has insisted that despite his opponents being considered favorites for the weekend class, as a team they aim to do their best.

The newcomers, fortunately, enjoyed an emphatic win in their first competitive match at the helm of the previous MEL outing, as the youngsters thumped Kentusi 2006, 6-4 in a mouth-watering encounter. The new youngsters take on Higi Haga, a more aggressive set of opponents also new to the league but the players bear scars from the previous season.

With claiming for silverware at the top of their list, the Galacticos Team Captain insisted that during the return of the MEL league this weekend, the fans should expect more goals. When asked about the weekend clash, he responded;

“All I know is, as a team we are coming to win, whether Higi Haga is considered favorites, let’s wait and see”, concluded Kalungi.

The Lawyers drew on their last outing, a 2-2 scoreline with One Touch FC in a nail-biting extravaganza. Higi Haga has a lot of experienced firepower under their sleeve.

“We have an organized team so far and that is a strength and thus we expect to have our players ready and in adequate number to handle the two games this weekend,” said Kyeyune Joel, Team Captain Higi Haga

When asked about being considered favorites to win the clash of New Blood, the Team Captain responded,

“The fans must have noticed our strength and indeed they noticed right unless it floods in Kampala, we will win the match”.

Higi Haga hopes to change the result from the last match outing to favor their objective this season of lifting silverware. Team Galacticos also have missing pieces of the jigsaw coming in from abroad and are expected to make appearances on the Sunday clash at the Mengo Senior School Stadium.
